Terms of use

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Snapshot application (the “App”), provided by Snapshot (“we,” “us,” or “our”), whether through your Shopify store or directly via our web application. By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install, access, or use the App.

1. App Functionality
The App is designed to [describe core function briefly, e.g. “optimize product recommendations,” “automate upsell offers,” etc.]. You must have an active Shopify store or a valid account on our web application to use the App. We are not affiliated with Shopify Inc.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of a Shopify store or as an individual/business user of our web application to use this App. You represent and warrant that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Data Access and Use
If you install the App on your Shopify store, you authorize us to access certain data from your Shopify account as required to provide our services. If you use our web application, you authorize us to collect and process the data you provide directly.
We will handle your data according to our Privacy Policy.
You retain ownership of your data. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

4. Fees and Billing
Unless otherwise stated, the App may offer a free trial, followed by a paid subscription. If you use the App through Shopify, billing is processed via Shopify’s billing system. If you use our web application, billing may be processed through our designated payment providers.
Fees are clearly listed in the App or on our website. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your access.

5. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its code

• Attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the operation of the App

• Abuse or exploit the App in a way that degrades performance or security

6. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin or discontinuing use of our web application. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or misuse of the App.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the App, our website, or by email. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Refund Policy

a. Free Trials
We may offer a free trial period for new users. During the trial, you may cancel at any time without being charged.

b. Subscription Fees
All subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis.

c. Refunds
If you are not satisfied with the App, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase.
Refund requests made after the 14-day period will not be eligible for a refund.

d. Renewals
Subscription renewals are non-refundable. It is your responsibility to cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle if you do not wish to continue.

e. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Shopify admin dashboard. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
